Questions
Estimates and Scheduling
How much does a fence cost?
Every yard is different, so Supreme Site Services measures before we price. Footage, height, style, gates and whether an old fence has to come out all change the number. You get a written proposal with the fence, the gates and the price before any work starts.
What happens at the estimate?
We walk your property, measure the fence lines and go over styles, gates and options with you. Michael runs the estimates himself. Afterward you get a written proposal.
How soon will I hear back?
Michael or Darby will call or text you within 24 hours, most days within a few hours. Field days can slow a reply.
When can you build my fence?
It depends on the season and how full the calendar is. We tell you where you stand when we measure, and your written proposal carries the timeline.
Questions
During the Build
How long does installation take?
Most installs take one to three days, depending on the length of the fence and whether an old fence has to come out first.
Will you remove my old fence?
Yes. We tear out and haul away the old fence when you need it, and we go over it in your estimate so nothing surprises you.
What if my yard is sloped or wooded?
We build on slopes and around trees all the time. We walk the site in person before we quote it, so surprises get solved before you sign anything.
Do you call 811 before digging?
Yes, before every dig. 811 marks public utility lines only, so tell us about irrigation, an invisible dog fence or lighting wire.
Questions
Materials
Should I pick wood or vinyl?
Wood is the classic and gives you the most style choices, and it needs staining or sealing to stay protected. Vinyl usually costs more up front than a basic wood fence, never needs paint or stain, and washes clean with soap and water.
Does a wood fence need staining?
It does not have to, but wood is a natural material, and sealing or staining helps protect it from sun and rain. Ask us at the estimate what to expect.
How tall can my fence be?
Six feet is the usual privacy height, and wood goes to eight feet. Aluminum comes in four, five and six feet, with 54 inches our standard. Your town or HOA may set a limit, so tell us early.
What does a pool fence need?
Black aluminum, 54 inches tall, with a self closing, self latching gate, built to meet pool code. Your town or county sets the rules for your pool, so check what applies and we will build to it.
Questions
After the Job
What warranty comes with my fence?
Supreme Site Services gives vinyl, aluminum and chain link fences a lifetime workmanship warranty. Wood fences come with a one year workmanship warranty and a tune up visit in the first year. Manufacturer warranties on materials pass through to you, and coverage applies to the original purchaser.
What happens when the fence is finished?
We clean up, then walk the finished fence with you before we leave. If something is not right, we are not done.
Who do I call if something comes up later?
Call or text 803-609-9760 and tell us what is going on. Michael or Darby will take it from there.
