The job
About This Fence
Before, this Columbia garden was fenced with an old picket fence and a gate that had weathered and begun to lean. After, a black aluminum fence and a matching gate run between painted white columns, beside a brick paver walk, with shade trees and a leafy bed behind. The gate lines up with the walk, so the path leads straight through.
Replacing a fence in a mature garden means working around trees, roots and plantings, and we plan the posts and the gate for the yard you actually have. Aluminum does not rust, so the new fence needs no scraping or repainting, and the thin pickets let the garden stay part of the view. Tearing out and hauling away the old fence is part of the job when you need it, and we go over it in the estimate. Aluminum fences come with a lifetime workmanship warranty.
