About This Fence
Wood posts, wood rails and woven wire make the classic farm fence, and this one runs along a paved drive in Chapin under a stand of hardwoods. The wire is spaced for small animals, and chickens are walking right beside it in the photos. Diagonal bracing in the panels keeps the wire tight between the posts.
At one point the fence meets a black steel gate with wire mesh, sized for the opening it has to close. We build farm fence through brush, trees and uneven ground, and we walk the line with you before we quote it. Tell us what you keep, how much ground you have and where the gates should go, and we will recommend a style and a height. Wood and wire needs an occasional look, especially after a storm or a fallen tree.
